Chelsea may reportedly listen to offers in January for senior duo Olivier Giroud and Pedro.

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard does not want to hamper the growth of his youngsters and their rise has limited the game time of the experienced player in the squad.

Giroud and Pedro only have just over six months remaining on their contracts and can speak to foreign clubs in January over free transfer summer moves.

Pedro has also fallen down the pecking order following the emergence of Callum Hudson-Odoi and the arrival of Christian Pulisic, though a decision on whether the former Barcelona star is allowed to leave is likely could depend on the club's injury situation and the result of their appeal against their transfer ban. He has started just one competitive match this season and wants regular football to give himself a chance of playing for France at Euro 2020.

There is quite a bit of hobby from France in Giroud, while Crystal Palace and West Ham United are two Premier League clubs who were linked with him.

Pedro may be more willing to see out the season at Chelsea, but he has also become a peripheral figure in Lampard's youth revolution.

Firmly in the race for a top-four finish, Lampard will not want to weaken his squad by losing several senior players if they can not be replaced.

It is also claimed that Chelsea could offload Marcos Alonso but his exit could be delayed until the summer as the club are targeting Leicester City's Ben Chilwell as the Spaniard's replacement.

Alonso was substituted during the dramatic draw with Ajax in midweek after a disappointing performance, and James' performance at right-back with captain Cesar Azpilicueta switching to the left could persuade Lampard that the player is no longer needed ahead of the winter window.
