Alleged Redmi 8 appears on TENAA with full specs
Redmi 8, Xiaomi's next affordable smartphone, has supposedly made an appearance on the website of Chinese regulator TENAA ahead of any official announcement. The presence of an 8MP selfie camera at the top also confirms the display has a notch.
According to Xiaomi Malaysia, the Redmi Note 7 in Moonlight White is only available for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant which is now retailing for RM799. Now, a successor which will arrive as the Redmi Note 8 is coming soon and it promises big upgrades.
Xiaomi is enjoying its 8th consecutive quarter as India's top smartphone brand, banking on the enormous popularity of its lower-priced Redmi and Redmi Note series.

The Redmi M1908C3IC device comes with dimensions 156.3 mm × 75.4 mm × 9.4 mm, and a weight of 190g. It also weighs 190 grams. The same model number was recently spotted on China's 3C site - alongside another model number M1908C3IE that could be a variant of the Redmi 8.
