This latest Android One offering phone features a few upgrades in design and hardware. The device has been priced at Euro 249, which is around Rs 19,000 for the 4GB+64GB storage model whereas the 4GB+128GB model is priced at Euro 279, which is around Rs 21,500. The handset also gets a 4,030 mAh non-removable battery with 18W fast charging support.

The company also points out the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset, the processor that is powering the smartphone but most are disappointed Xiaomi's choice of the chipset.

Xiaomi Mi A3 is finally out and it was as the leaks had suspected: It is a rebranded Xiaomi CC9e.

The Mi A3 joins the fray as an Android One handset, which means it will offer a stock Android experience, ensuring faster monthly security updates and OS upgrades.

Other than that, the Mi A3 also carries 48MP camera on its back alongside an 8MP ultra wide-angle camera and 2MP depth sensor. The front camera of the phone is a 32MP selfie shooter placed in the waterdrop-style notch on the top.

Connectivity options on the A3 include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, 4G VoLTE, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The price starts at 249 Euros (~RM1155) and comes with a huge downgrade in terms of display from the Xiaomi Mi A2 and Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite with its 720 x 1560px resolution OLED display (the two phones mentioned comes equipped with 1080p LCD displays).
