Zaha is Unai Emery's No 1 target.

Yannick Carrasco and Ryan Fraser, meanwhile, were previously the pair most persistently-linked.

However, it appears Zaha has now turned up the heat as Sky Sports claim the attacker has now personally informed Palace he wants to leave the club this summer once he returns from holiday and Arsenal is his preferred destination.

Palace standout Zaha enjoyed a superb campaign last time out, notching 10 goals and 10 assists across 34 Premier League appearances.

Wilfried Zaha's brother said a few weeks back that his sibling has always wanted to make his dream move to Arsenal and that he was hoping that Crystal Palace would reach an agreement with the gunners but the North Londoners have however cooled down their interest in him ever since Edu Gaspar got appointed.

Recent reports, though, have insisted that the explosive Ivorian has set his sights on a Selhurst Park departure this summer.

According to the Evening Standard, the Toffees are in the running now alongside frontrunners Arsenal for the 26-year-old.

Zaha is keen to join Arsenal this summer, with the Gunners having seen a £40million bid rejected earlier this month.

Zaha is an ambitious target for Everton and it seems unlikely they will land him considering his mammoth £80million valuation.

WIlfried Zaha has told Crystal Palace he wants to leave after returning from the African Cup of Nations.

But in a bid to bridge the gap, Arsenal are said to be ready to offer £40m plus Mohamed Elneny, Calum Chambers and Carl Jenkinson to Palace to sign Zaha.
