Spider-Man and Batman have a lot to be excited for, because with their forces combined, they are technically present in all ten of the top-selling superhero games of all time list.

No one has ever questioned the quality of Spider-Man PS4, which is a fantastic game with one of the best Spider-Man storylines around.

Mat Piscatella of the NPD group revealed that, as of May 2019, Marvel's Spider-Man is the best-selling superhero game of all time in the United States.

That said, Batman didn't fare too badly in the top ten.

The team recently added two brand new suits to the game based off of the suits Spider-Man wears in the new Spider-Man: Far From Home movie.

PS4 exclusive, which was the best selling PlayStation only title at launch a year ago, is followed by Batman Arkham City, Batman Arkham Knight and LEGO Batman, which proves that the Dark Knight has been for a long while the most popular superhero in gaming. Rounding out the top five were Lego Batman (the original release) and Lego Marvel Super Heroes, both from Warner Bros.' game division. There's a reason Sony keeps trotting out Spider-Man and rebooting him every few years! Injustice: Gods Among Us, Batman: Arkham Asylum, and Injustice 2 round off the list at eight, nine, and 10, so it's a solid battle between Spidey and the Dark Knight in the top 10.

Does it surprise you that Marvel's Spider-Man is the best-selling superhero game of all time? That's right, the game has officially outsold Batman: Arkham Knight, the previous holder of this impressive title.
