Luigi's Mansion 3 release date leaked

The news comes by way of Eurogamer, which reports that Luigi's Mansion 3 will be releasing for Nintendo Switch on October 31 of this year.

We probably should've seen this coming. That's right, Nintendo have announced a 31st October release date for the Nintendo Switch exclusive Luigi's Mansion 3.

Tell us, what do you think of Luigi's Mansion 3? We got another look at the game at Nintendo's E3 2019 Direct, where Luigi showcased his new abilities with the Poltergust Vacuum, as well as brand new coop multiplayer mode.

Will you be spending this Halloween exploring the many floors of the haunted hotel?

Luigi and friends get invited to go on their dream vacation, and arrive only to realize it was all a ploy by King Boo to be able to kidnap them! To help clear everything up, Nintendo has swooped in to provide gamers with an official release date. Instead of going out to Trick or Treat, cause mayhem or something that could get you arrested. Formerly the second-player in co-op mode, he's now a full-on game mechanic.

While Luigi's Mansion 3 had been announced at the most recent Electronic Entertainment Expo as a 2019 title, there was no specific date given at that time. Using Gooigi to walk through spikes was particularly interesting and adds a nice layer of puzzle solving to the game as a whole.

Luigi's Mansion 3 is due out on October 31st on the Nintendo Switch.
