Actor Stephanie Niznik of''Everwood- A 15th Anniversary Reunion speaks onstage during the CW portion of the 2017 Summer Television Critics Association Press Tour

The moment the news of her death was announced on social media, there were reactions from her co-workers and fans.

The actress was famously recognized for her position as Nina Feeney within the tv serial Evergreen. The drama Everwood was telecasted for four seasons from 2002 to 2006 on The WB.

In the following years Niznik also took on roles in the successful series "Dr. Quinn", "Grey's Anatomy", "CSI: Miami" or "Navy CIS". This time she played the role of The Wraith in Star Trek: Enterprise which was telecasted on UPN in 2002.

The versatile American movie and tv actress Stephanie Lynne Niznik handed away on June 23rd, 2019. In that film, she played Trill Starfleet Ensign Kell Perim.

The EPs were last reunited with the Everwood cast at a 15th anniversary panel in 2017.

Series creator Greg Berlanti and executive producer Rina Mimoun were also at the reunion, though Chris Pratt and Sarah Drew did not make the event. "We recently lost the mother of our tribe, Stephanie Niznik".

She was originally from Bangor, Maine native and graduated from Duke University. Stephanie additionally pursued masters at Cal Arts.

Friends from her time at Duke have paid heartbreaking tributes to the star, describing her as "so kind".

Outside of acting, Niznik - according to Variety - frequently participated in charity work for the Four Winds Heart-Centered Healing, as well as volunteer work to feed the hungry, as well as children and animal rescue organizations.

She has also appeared in the film Exit to Eden.
