PSG had also lodged an interest in Barry who underwent a medical with the French club before he changed his mind joined the Spanish champions instead.

The La Liga champions say he will play for their Under-19 squad next season.

Barca are excited by Barry's potential.

Barry had been with the Baggies since the age of six but has recently turned down the offer of a professional contract with his boyhood club. He's penned a three year deal and will play for Juvenil A next season.

Despite this, the Catalan giants have announced the signing of the England youth global, who scored six goals in nine games for the Young Lions, as well as having scored seven times in the Under-18 Premier League last season.

Ex-West Brom teammate Marvin Rodgers has joined Manchester City, while Liverpool have edged out Europe's elite in their bid to sign Fulham's Harvey Elliott.
