Katherine Heigl addresses possible return to Grey's Anatomy as her USA Network series Suits end

Katherine Heigl (Suits) will star in and executive produce Netflix's Firefly Lane, a drama series based on the bestselling novel by Kristin Hannah, from Maggie Friedman (No Tomorrow).

"I haven't [thought about Izzie] in years". Who do you want to see Heigl go through the ups and downs of life with? "I don't know. I don't know if I would or if I wouldn't", she said, admitting that the decision to reprise the role would be a "tough one" to make.

As for the upcoming series finale of Suits?

'Obviously being on it has changed my viewing of the show because just understanding even the space that they film in and being part of it kind of regularly now, versus watching it on television, has changed my viewership, ' she said.

Good or bad: 'I don't know if that's good or bad. Like, I nearly ruined it for myself, ' Heigl added.

She added that she hasn't given much thought to where she hopes her character Samantha Wheeler will end up and is more focused on bidding farewell to her "favorite characters" and costars.

After her former onscreen husband Alex Karev's (Justin Chambers) marriage to Camilla Luddington's Jo Wilson in Season 14, Heigl told TVLine that she'd "have to start wondering where Izzie is".

Heigl, who is now wrapping up a two-season stint on USA Network's soon-to-include Suits, will play Tully Hart, a magnetic, ambitious, reckless and fiercely loyal force of nature.
