This is shaping up to be yet another massive hit for Disney, but what else is new?

Though the cast list is filled with some pretty well-known names, there is one person on that list who fans might be surprised to see. These new posters for The Lion King may offer the best look yet at the photo-realistic versions of Simba, Nala, Mufasa, Scar, Timon, Pumbaa, Sarabi, young Simba, young Nala, Sarabi, Rafiki, and Zazu.

Here's a short story.

And at the reception for their wedding past year, Sir Elton performed the original film's theme song, Circle of Life, for the 600 guests gathered at Windsor Castle. If these fantastic looks don't get you excited for the Disney re-make, I don't know what will.

The collection is also a companion to the main "Lion King" soundtrack, which compromises mostly of songs from the animated film, along with a new number from Elton John and Tim Rice, who wrote the songs for the original. It was important that the music was not only performed by the most interesting and talented artists but also produced by the best African producers.

Now knowing this, we can assume that it was a dream come true for him to receive a call from Donald Glover as he made it possible for Chance the Rapper to be part of the film. Beyonce has dropped her new single from her Lion King-curated album for the Lion King remake and it's sent fans into a frenzy. That could probably go without saying (I mean, these people have professional stylists!), but I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that the celebrities were all stunning at this premiere.

The Lion King is just days away from release and the world premiere of the film turned out to be a dazzling affair.
