James Holzhauer to return for 'Jeopardy!'s' 2019 Tournament of Champions this fall

In addition to Holzhauer and Boettcher, a user-experience librarian at the University of Chicago who scored just three victories and won $97,002, the field will feature the players who won the most "Jeopardy!" games since the last champs tourney, along with the teacher's tournament and college championship winners on the show, which is hosted by the legendary Alex Trebek.

"First up, no suspense here", McGuire began, "James Holzhauer will return to compete".

James Holzhauer, whose lucrative two-month run as Jeopardy! champion goosed the veteran game show's ratings in the spring, will face off against Emma Boettcher - the woman who ended his streak - and 13 others in its annual Tournament of Champions.

The 10-day contest, which features 15 top competitors from the hit game show, is scheduled to run November 4-15, the show announced Wednesday. The 2019 Jeopardy Tournament of Champions airs every weeknight from November 4 to November 15.
