Chelsea have rejected offers from Barcelona and Atletico Madrid for Willian, who is now at the Copa America with Brazil, according to Sky Sports.

The winger has just 12 months remaining on his current deal at Stamford Bridge, meaning he could leave the club for free next summer, although there have been suggestions that he is close to agreeing a new deal.

Both Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are ready to offer Willian a new home in Spanish football and are prepared to pay £35m.

Eden Hazard completed his move to Real Madrid last week for £88 million (plus add-ons) last week.

Chelsea are keen to keep hold of the 30-year-old beyond the summer, especially since they are now serving the first part of their two-window transfer ban which was imposed by Federation Internationale de Football Association.

The £120,000-a-week (Spotrac) rapid attacker can be a major threat on either wing on his day and has shown his class in front of goal, but inconsistency is a major fact with him.

The Blues may have to succumb to Willian's demands, however, given their two window transfer ban and are likely to compromise to agree on a deal, the report claims.

It's unclear on who will be the manager at Chelsea next season, but whoever it is may need to rely on Willian as one of the more senior players to step up in the final third.
