Romelu Lukaku has placed the ball firmly in Manchester United's court over his future at Old Trafford.

Romelu Lukaku has revealed he would jump at the chance to work with Antonio Conte at Inter, labelling the Italian the "best coach in the world" while hinting that he has made a decision over his future.

Lukaku's incredible goalscoring record with his country has continued, leading many to feel his problems are simply with United.

'I have two Leagues, which I've always dreamed about - the English League and Serie A.

Corriere dello Sport says United are prepared to sell the Belgium global for €75m.

'Serie A is my [other] favourite League - I love Italy.

Lukaku netted two times as Belgium cruised past Scotland in a Euro 2020 qualifier in Brussels.

He added: "With the transfer of [Cristiano] Ronaldo, I think the Italian league is now coming back".

The one thing that can cause a breakdown, however, is if Manchester United themselves decide to veto the move. "So I think Serie A will be really exciting next year and I'm really happy for Italian football".

Now, Lukaku has given his clearest indication yet that a move away from Old Trafford could still be on the cards this summer.

"He [Conte] knows what I think about him", the former Anderlecht star explained.

It is further reported that both the clubs continue to rumble on and Manchester United are understood to want at least £62 million.

"And if something happens, the teams and my agent have to do the talking".

Lukaku scored 27 goals across all competition in his debut season at United after joining from Everton in 2017.

"As for my future, I have already made a decision that I still can not communicate publicly out of respect for Manchester United with whom I have a contract".
