Serie A giant Torino complete €10m deal for Super Eagles full-back Ola Aina on a permanent basis from Chelsea after club president Urbano Cairo has confirmed.

The 22-year-old came through the Chelsea youth ranks and went on to make six appearances for the first team during the 2016-17 campaign under former boss Antonio Conte.

Impressed with his performance for the club, Torino have chose to exercise an option to sign the Nigeria global to a permanent contract.

He said: "We've redeemed Aina for €10m, as well as Cristian Ansaldi, and Koffi Djidji".

Beale, who is on Gerrard's staff at Ibrox, worked with Aina in the youth set-up at Chelsea and is delighted to see the wing-back making his way in the game.

Chelsea originally had been reluctant to lose the promising Nigeria global and monitored him closely last season with plans to promote him to the first team.

At Torino, Aina was equally as important and he played 30 of the Turin-based outfit's 38 Serie A matches a year ago.

He featured 46 times for the Tigers, impressing enough to earn himself a temporary switch to Torino, where Aina has gone from strength to strength.

As for Chelsea, Cesar Azpilicueta will likely continue as first choice right back, while Zappacosta and James could compete for the role of deputy.
