Wrath of the White Witch is coming to Nintendo Switch and remastered on PS4 & PC on 09.20.19. Both versions of the game are scheduled to launch on September 20, and the console versions will be available both at retail and digitally.

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered is an enhanced version of the 2013-released RPG featuring upgraded graphics, while the non-remastered Switch version is a port of the original release. PlayStation 4 Pro owners will be pleased to know it will be playable in 4K, though the frame rate will be cut to 30fps if someone chooses that option.

Bandai Namco has pre-orders open on their page, listing the game at $49.95 [Switch/PS4]. When Ni no Kuni was originally released it became a critical hit due its touching story and blending of Studio Ghibli animations. LEVEL-5's classic tale is now on-the-go, as you follow Oliver's journey as he embarks to another world inhabited by familiars and foes in the hopes of bringing back his mother from a parallel universe after a tragic incident. This should come as particularly good news to fans of No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, since the only way to play the first game on PC was via the RPCS3 emulator.

Wrath of the White Witch's adorable anime antics are getting an HD lick of paint. "We're excited to let gamers rediscover this rich world on modern systems".
