This bad boy will apparently sport an extra-sharp screen with a blazing fast 120Hz refresh rate, created to fully immerse mobile users in silky smooth fighting experiences like those offered by a game called "Under One Person".

Information regarding the ROG Phone 2's new display was reportedly confirmed by a post made from the brand's official Weibo account. This new ROG monitor also supports the DisplayHDR 1000 standard, so you get 1000 nits of peak brightness, 10-bit image processing and 90% DCI-P3 gamut coverage.

ASUS has collaborated with "Under the One Man" game from China and has said that its next ROG Phone will offer increased refresh rate. Razer's smartphones are the only Android phones on the market to offer 120Hz capabilities, and they use Sharp IGZO LCD screens. Thanks to Tencent Games, Asus's next gaming smartphone will ship with exclusive gaming software optimization from the Chinese company.

However, it is being speculating that the Snapdragon 855 chipset will be present under the hood of the ROG Phone 2. Not much else has been revealed about the next ROG Phone, but since the first one launched in July of previous year, we shouldn't have much longer to find out more. Also, its highest configuration model could be equipped with 12 GB of RAM. ASUS has also mentioned in a Weibo post that the ROG Phone 2 will be launching in July. Asus till now has refrained from providing an exact date for the launch and whether or not the device will come to India.
