Seemingly an impossible task, especially when PS4 and Xbox One struggle with the game at times and it came in for so much criticism for visual downgrades compared to the original reveal trailer, the port is being handled by Saber Interactive. For a lot of people, The Witcher 3 probably tops that list since it's such a graphics-intensive game.

Victor of over 250 Game of the Year awards, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a story-driven, open world adventure set in a dark fantasy universe.

The Witcher 3 was celebrated upon its initial release in 2015 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, so Switch owners are getting something special to play at home or on the go. Chief among all that additional content are two story-based expansions, Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine.

It is set to launch this year both digitally and in retail.

After ongoing rumours and some wild speculation, today's Nintendo Direct E3 2019 showcase has finally confirmed Geralt of Rivia is coming to the Nintendo Switch.

The Witcher 3 is headed to Nintendo's hybrid handheld/console later this year. We'll let you know when CD Projekt Red announces a firm release date, so stay tuned for more.
