The Raiders are the second AFC West team to be featured on the HBO series after the Kansas City Chiefs in 2007.

The post included both a picture of Raiders' quarterback Derek Carr and wide receiver Antonio Brown.

The Raiders announced they'll be on HBO's Hard Knocks in August, and if you look around the league this is the ideal team for it.

The NFL says the television series will air on HBO on August 6.

The reality show, a five-episode peek behind the scenes of National Football League teams entering its 14th season, will bring former ESPN analyst Gruden back to the masses, and possibly provide a window into the decision-making process that saw him trade star pass-rusher Khalil Mack, and then deal away up-and-coming wideout Amari Cooper in his return to the sidelines.

"Everybody wants to be a Raider", team owner Mark Davis said. "Now they'll find out what it takes to become one", reads the tweet with the video, which shows low aerial shots of the team's Napa, California, practice facility. You'd be insane not to go to Oakland. "We are so grateful to this storied franchise for opening up its doors and allowing HBO and NFL Films to spend the summer with the Raiders in what promises to be a compelling and engaging training camp".

It's a Hard Knocks life for the Oakland Raiders.

The Raiders were chosen from among five teams that were eligible to be portrayed the show this season.
