First, make sure you're a member of the Build-A-Bear Bonus Club.

This new system was developed in an effort to reduce the chaos that ensued a year ago during the company's first Pay Your Age event that was held on one day.

The company is bringing back the Pay Your Age promotion, which allows customers to pay their age for a stuffed animal up to $29. But the company is limiting how many tickets and timing.

Build-A-Bear adds that if you happen to miss the Pay-Your-Age event that any child can accompany a member of its Bonus Club to the store during their birthday month and get the same deal. Once the ticket is in hand, you can redeem them at Build-A-Bear Workshops between June 24 and 28. Those who entered will receive an email by June 21 on whether they were given a ticket or not. Winners can use the offer during a certain redemption period, which will be written on the ticket, they added.

This year, shoppers will need to need to sign up on the company's website for a chance to get a limited ticket. Build-A-Bear at the time said it had to cut off lines at its USA stores after local authorities required outlets around the country to limit crowd sizes.

For anyone who has kids, or has been to a shopping centre with one - you'll know that Build-A-Bear is a particularly appealing concept for children. "We have closed lines in our stores", the company tweeted in July.
