Zinda, the new song from Bharat's playlist, is the theme song of the movie and we have already bits and pieces of it in the trailer. The actress will be seen playing a no non-sense government officer named "Kumud" in Salman Khan starrer. Salman gave me this Korean film to watch and the first thing that struck me was it's a very handsome and emotional story which spans over many years. The song begins with Bharat aka Salman Khan recollecting haunting memories from when he was just 14 and separated from father during the Partition in 1947. Today the makers are out with the most awaited song "Zinda" from the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial. Talking about the difficulties that he had to face while shooting for the film, Salman said that losing and gaining weight to look younger in the film was a challenge that we faced but this was something that we had faced during "Sultan" as well. Though Kat didn't gave much attention to it, Salman was quick enough to say that he is not "Bhaijaan" for Katrina. "It indicates the ups and downs of Bharat's life in 70 yrs". She has done a brilliant job in the film.

The cast includes Sunil Grover as Salman's friend and Jackie Shroff as his father. The film also features Tabu, Sonali Kulkarni, Disha Patani, Shashank Arora and Nora Fatehi in supporting roles. It is produced by Atul Agnihotri's Reel Life Production Pvt Ltd and Bhushan Kumar's T-Series.
