Kangana Ranaut's sister Rangoli Chandel had filed a complaint against Pancholi last month by stating that he exploited and abused the actress, a decade ago. The police are now trying to look out for any evidence in the matter that allegedly happened 13 years ago. Pancholi chose the legal way by filing the FIR, which also states that Ranaut's lawyer threatened to file a rape case against him if he didn't take back the defamation suit that he filed against the actress.

Pancholi, however, denied all the allegations, and submitted his own complaint, along with evidence of Kangana's lawyer threatening him with a false rape case. "We will conduct an inquiry before registering an FIR". This is a false rape case. He said that he has a video of this conversation which has been already provided to the police as evidence and that fresh charges were filed against him after submission of this said video. "The case is under investigation right now". Following the defamation case, her lawyer, on January 6 this year, threatened to file a rape case against me if I didn't withdraw the defamation case against his client.
