"We are so proud of The Last O.G.'s continued success", said Brett Weitz, general manager of TBS and TNT. In addition, it was also announced that the series adaptation has been moved from TNT to the TBS network and is now scheduled to make its premiere in the spring of 2020. The show continues to be a ratings success in its second season, now ranking as cable's #1 sitcom and reaching a multiplatform audience of 23 million viewers so far. Well, according to a press release: "Known for its culture-defining comedies, TBS will be adding dramas to its programming lineup starting with Snowpiercer". Original showrunner and series creator Josh Friedman left the show last January, with Graeme Manson taking over as showrunner.

Set more than seven years after the world has become a frozen wasteland, "Snowpiercer" centers on the remnants of humanity, who inhabit a very big, perpetually-moving train that circles the globe. Class warfare, social injustice and the politics of survival play out in this riveting television adaptation.

TNT's new Snowpiercer series will return fans of Bong Joon-ho's 2013 film to the desolate future where the Earth has become a nearly-uninhabitable tundra and much of the human population has been relegated to a perpetually-moving locomotive. Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements of Tomorrow Studios will executive produced along with Derrickson, James Hawes, Matthew O'Connor, Miky Lee, Jeong Tae-sung, Park Chan-wook, Lee Tae-hun and Choi Dooho. Hopefully it's one that showrunner and executive producer Graeme Manson (Orphan Black) is up to, along with stars Jennifer Connelly, Daveed Diggs, Alison Wright, Mickey Sumner, Susan Park, Iddo Goldberg, Katie McGuinness, Lena Hall, Annalise Basso, Sam Otto, Roberto Urbina, Sheila Vand, Jaylin Fletcher, and Rowan Blanchard.

Morgan and Haddish will return for the third season, as well as series regulars Ryan Gaul, Allen Maldonado, Taylor Mosby and Dante Hoagland.
