So it will have come as no surprise that Sir Mick Jagger has made a speedy recovery from heart valve replacement surgery he underwent last month - and could not resist the opportunity to show off to his fans.

In the clip, posted to his official Twitter on Wednesday, the Rolling Stones frontman, 75, can be seen practicing his dance moves in an empty studio, where he struts along to the Wombats' 2011 song Techno Fan.

Jagger was forced to postpone tour dates in the United States and Canada, announcing he was "devastated" to let down fans.

In the 22-second clip, Jagger - wearing a white t-shirt, black running trousers and sneakers - is seen in a dance studio watching himself in a mirror as he moves energetically to "Techno Fan", a song by the United Kingdom indie-rock group The Wombats.

The rock legends were forced to postpone their upcoming US tour last month when the 75-year-old was hospitalized and later underwent heart valve replacement surgery.

The statement simply said doctors had advised he needed medical treatment.

Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones performs during a concert of their "No Filter" European tour at the Orange Velodrome stadium in Marseille, France, June 26, 2018.

The video is fans' first glimpse of Jagger since April 12, when Jagger shared a tranquil photo of him in a park.
