As it turns out, ASUS approach to achieving full-screen experience on its 2019 flagship phone is quite unique. Remember that past year the Asus Zenfone 5z was the cheapest S845 phone in Europe, slipping just under the price of the OnePlus 6.

The reason why you might not have heard much about the Zenfone 6 launching later today is because the phone will be unveiled globally tonight at an event in Valencia at 20:00 CEST, which is 11:30 pm IST. Asus India will be posting live updates from the event via its official Twitter handle and you can even watch it live on YouTube.

The Zenfone 6 is shaping up to be the new flagship killer.

As per the renders leaked via Slashleaks, the Asus Zenfone 6 features a motorised rotating dual camera setup that slides up and swivels for selfie clicks. If this isn't enough to overcome OnePlus, Asus also has some other cards up its sleeve: a dedicated microSD slot allowing storage to be further expanded, as well as the praised 3.5mm headphone jack and a Notification, LED.

Instead of using a pop-up camera which is gaining traction as of late, the Taiwanese company has implemented a motorized flip camera on ZenFone 6.

The ZenFone 6 and all its goodies will be disclosed tomorrow, so keep an eye in the news for the full coverage of the new flagship of 2019.

This flip module is expected to host two cameras, a primary 48 MP camera, and a 13 MP secondary lens. At 5,000mAh, this is the largest battery to be offered on a flagship smartphone.
