Diesel became cheaper by 19 paise to Rs 66.28 compared to Rs 66.47 yesterday. Diesel prices were decreased by 19 paise per litre in Delhi and Kolkata. In Kolkata, petrol became 47 paise cheaper today was selling at Rs 74.21 per litre.

Petrol prices were cut by 48 paise per litre in Delhi and Mumbai.

Diesel rates stood at Rs. 66.28 per litre in New Delhi, Rs. 68.04 per litre in Kolkata, Rs. 69.45 per litre in Mumbai and Rs. 70.06 per litre in Chennai.

Lanka Indian Oil Corporation (LIOC) has also made a decision to increase fuel prices in line with the fuel price hike announced by the government last night (10).

The Ministry of Finance following the monthly meeting of the committee on fuel prices revision held today announced that fuel prices have been revised with effect from midnight Friday (10), based on the pricing formula.

Diesel prices remain the same but Super Diesel has also increased by Rs. 2.

In Chennai, petrol price is reduced by 50 paise and retailing at Rs 74.90 a litre while diesel became 20 paise cheaper and is being sold at Rs 70.06 per litre. US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures ended 4 cents lower at $61.66, with a weekly loss of 0.5 per cent.
