Finally, the trailer ends with the return of Pennywise's clown form in all its horrifying glory.

The spooky trailer was released today, which sees The Losers' Club return to Derry, all grown up. Opening with a long scene of Beverly (played in present-day scenes by Jessica Chastain) visiting her childhood home, Beverly realizes that she didn't leave the terror behind with her school years.

Chastain will be joined by James McAvoy (Split) as Bill, Bill Hader (HBO's Barry) as Richie, Isaiah Mustafa (Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments) as Mike, Jay Ryan (Mary Kills People) as Ben, James Ransone (HBO's The Wire) as Eddie, and Andy Bean (Allegiant) as Stanley. This sequel continues that story, now 27 years later, re-uniting the "Losers Club" of Derry and bringing back the creepy clown again. In King's novel, Mike Hanlon is the only one of the original seven members of the Losers' Club to remain in Derry as an adult, and he keeps an eye on the town's unusual happenings. There is now a weird old lady living there, who seems to hold a dark secret. She invites Beverly in for tea and cookies, but the scares begin as Pennywise is revealed to be the old woman.

The trailer for IT Chapter Two, the conclusion of the hugely popular Stephen King adaptation from 2017, is here. We know you're here for the scares - and that's okay because we are, too.

"My father joined the circus", the woman responded as the photo of a humanized Pennywise comes into view. Bill (Jaeden Lieberher) loses his little brother, Georgie, to Pennywise, and the group decides to take on Pennywise and drive him into early hibernation, where he will hopefully starve.

The first trailer for It: Chapter Two isn't the kind of teaser we've come to expect. The terrifying trailer also teases a carnival, the gang returning to the sewer and a newly rekindled romance between Bill and Beverly.
