Ninja Gaiden 3 and Trials Evolution Are Now Backwards Compatible with Xbox One

Trials Rising and Ninja Gaiden 3 are now backwards compatible on Xbox One. As always, the ones on the Xbox One store is more expensive as it retails for $29.99.

Razor's Edge is an enhanced version of the original Ninja Gaiden 3. Team Ninja originally developed the game for Wii U in 2012 before bringing it to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 the following year.

The other game that became backward compatible today is the racing game Trials Evolution.

For Trials Evolution, those who have the disc and have purchased the game digitally can play the game.

High-Octane Ninja Action: Built upon the same intense action that the series is renowned for, Ninja Gaiden 3 will challenge players while still remaining accessible for players new to the franchise.

Of course, Trials Evolution also comes with a track editor just like its predecessor, Trials HD. With the first and second game also available via backwards compatibility, players are able to play the entire trilogy on one console. Microsoft's director of programming for Xbox Live, Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb, took to Twitter to announce that the Xbox One now supports two more Xbox 360 titles via backward compatibility. These two join the extensive list of over 500 games now playable on Xbox One via backwards compatibility.
