And in an interview on Busted Open Radio, Young offered more details on Punk's cameo.

CM Punk hasn't wrestled an official match since 2014, but he did do a brief run in while wearing a mask at a MKE Wrestling event a few days ago.

Though some might think the Punk name-dropping could just be a red herring to build interest in the angle, it apparently actually was Punk under the hood. According to Fightful Select, CM Punk made an appearance at The Freelance Wrestling event "Raw Power" on December 15, 2015. Silas Young, who can be seen filming Punk's appearance with his cellphone in the video below, had some fun with this on Twitter by noting that "some PUNK" interfered in a match. Punk maybe had his first match in that building and unfortunately it's going to be torn down. That building has had wrestling for years, a lot of guys got their start there.

As we exclusively reported on Sunday, Punk was never backstage at the show. "He came, did the run-in in a mask and then left in a mask".

CM Punk is a man who has not been very active as of late in terms of sporting action. "But from what I was told, I don't know why anybody would lie to me".
