Alia Bhatt Takes A'Stand On Kangana Ranaut's Unflattering Comments

Alia was at the Critics Choice Film Awards 2019 on Sunday when she was asked to react on the comments made by the sisters. However, the 26-year-old has remained unfazed taking all the criticism in her stride and given a befitting response to Rangoli's recent allegations against her and her family.

Of late, Alia Bhatt is being constantly targetted by Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel be it for the lack of support to the Ranaut sisters or for her getting compared with Kangana as an actor.

She wrote, after Kangana refused to do a film for the Bhatts, Mahesh got so upset that he threw a slipper at the actor. PTI reports that when a reporter asked her about handling Rangoli's comments against her family, she said: "If I am like this, then my family is ten times more mature and stronger than I am". I don't want to be drawn into this matter. "I want to be happy, positive, work hard and be a better version of myself everyday".

Adding to her statement, Alia Bhatt said she indeed has taken a "stand" and that's her no-reaction resolution: "I should not pay attention to what people say or don't say. Everyone has the right to say whatever they want to say.mai bas chup rahungi".

On the occasion of Earth Day, Kangana Ranaut and Rangoli Chandel made a donation to Aamir Khan's Paani foundation and encouraged everyone to do the same.

After Kangana branded Alia Bhatt's performance in Gully Boy as "mediocre", Alia told Pinkvilla in an interview: "I respect Kangana's work a lot and I respect her opinion". I would rather remember how much she had praised me after watching Raazi. "Maybe she will appreciate me again if I work hard enough". "Sometimes we do hold back".

Rangoli had alleged Alia's dad and veteran filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt for harassing Kangana. They've never co-starred in a film.
