Liverpool take a 2-0 lead into the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final clash with Porto.

Slightly hard to say what will be the starting eleven of FC Porto after the preview press conference of Sergio Conceicao, but we would bet on: Casillas; Militao, Felipe, Pepe, Telles; Danilo, Herrera; Otavio, Corona, Brahimi; Marega.

"We played Roma and they can be an uncomfortable opponent but I didn't really see a chance for them that night as Porto were in control of that game".

For all the talk of a potential Manchester City quadruple, Liverpool are still eyeing a Premier League and Champions League double, and former Leeds United midfielder James Milner said they needed to deliver for words like Conceicao's to carry weight. "In my opinion, in a lot of these moments, they are the best team in the world".

"That's a nice compliment, and we get those compliments by playing good football over a sustained period of time", said Milner. "But to be that you have to win trophies, and that's something we haven't done yet and what we're trying to do this season".

Virgil Van Dijk will start in central defence and given that Klopp has chosen to rotate Matip and Lovren as the Dutchman's partner, it should be Dejan Lovren who will play vs Porto since Joel Matip started during the 2-0 win vs Chelsea.

"When did he say that?" Klopp asked. "He said we are the best team in the world? OK". Sometimes we are really good, that's true.

"We all know how well we can play".

"We're not here to celebrate our situation", he said.

"Porto have won all their home games (in the Champions League) so far, we know they are really dominating in the home games". It's not about how good our season has been to now. "That's something we can think about at the end of the season".

Klopp revealed the Reds spent 45 minutes yesterday studying that second-leg performance from Porto in the last round.

"I didn't like the last game, because it was really unusual", Klopp said. Until we were 2-0 up, it was a completely open game.

"Mohamed Salah is back in form and Sadio Mane scored again at the weekend, while Roberto Firmino has been the best of the attacking players recently".

In front of their own supporters, they will be desperate to show that last year's thrashing was an anomaly. An early goal could change everything in this tie; Liverpool have to be the ones looking for it, not shipping it.

Joel Matip will nearly certainlyalmost partner Virgil van Dijk in the heart of the Liverpool defence on Wednesday.

He added: "In the Champions League I think they have an advantage but with the ability we have as players and as a squad, I'm very confident".
