Jedi Fallen Order is being developed by Respawn, the team behind Titanfall and Apex Legends.

When thinking about upcoming action-adventure game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, it's easy to look back at previous failures in Star Wars games and feel disheartened.

Set after the cinematic events of Episode III - Revenge of the Sith, and following the Emperor's sinister Order 66 to wipe out all the Jedi, a young Padawan named Cal Kestis (played by Gotham star Cameron Monaghan) hides in plain sight from the Empire while working on the planet Bracca.

It has been revealed that when Electronic Arts contacted Respawn Entertainment to work onStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, the developer was already working on an unannounced game.

Players will need to approach enemies strategically, sizing up strengths and weaknesses while cleverly utilizing your Jedi training to overcome your opponents and solve the mysteries that lay in your path.

While Benioff, Weiss, and Rian might be central to the future of Star Wars, Kennedy did confirm they are looking for new talent, "We have a series of filmmakers that we're bringing into the fold, that we can start to look at as directing talent, and we're trying to bring women into the mix as well". There are areas where it's hacking stuff, because that is the fantasy where you can just mow through Stormtroopers. You can check out ALL the different outfits in the gallery below.

Fans have had a number of theories about the direction the new Star Wars films could take. Indeed, as Collider exclusively revealed last summer, Lucasfilm put a halt on plans for more spinoffs, like the Obi-Wan movie, following the box office disappointment of Solo: A Star Wars Story. We're looking at: "What is the next decade of storytelling?" For example, the Second Sister and the Purge Troopers, specially trained to take on Jedi, first debuted in Marvel's Darth Vader comic-book series. The game is exclusively single-player and story-driven, with no microtransactions. We did the thing on this side of the camera, but we don't know how it's going to turn out.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is set to release on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 15, 2019. And then you look at Rogue One, the animated show Rebels, those are ensemble stories.

But, Reilly adds, "the secrets pay off".
