Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra opened up on what it's like to see an increasing number of women speaking about sexual harassment in Bollywood and Hollywood. The wave of the Me Too movement which had hit Bollywood too previous year had brought out many sexual offenders from the industry so it came as no surprise when the actress spoke on this grave issue. Discussing sexual harassment cases, the actress spoke about her own experience of facing sexual harassment adding that she is not ashamed of admitting it during the recent event.

Priyanka Chopra recently graced the 10th Annual Women in the World Summit in NY wherein she spoke about many important issues affecting women across the world. The actress discussed on a wide range of topics but considering that she has been associated with women empowerment in the past as the United Nations ambassador, Me Too movement was one of the most discussed topics during the summit. Priyanka revealed, "Sexual harassment had become a norm with women". She appreciated the fact that that now women are fearless enough to come out and speak about their ordeal.

"We always had a voice". Say Peecee, "Now because of the support we are giving each other, people don't have the power to shut us down. Now if I have a story I don't feel I'm alone anymore - and I'm not ashamed of it", she remarked. Har job mein hoti hai. It happened when I was very young. "Every woman in our country has dealt with it and I'm sure not everyone wants to talk about it publicly".
