The Miami Open signed an agreement to move the tournament to Hard Rock Stadium starting this year. Despite the massive scope of the venue and state-of-the-art upgrades, memories remain of the beauty at Key Biscayne. This year, however, she enters the women's main draw having played intermittently as of late.

"She's a big fighter", Azarenka said of her opponent she's played many times over the course of her career. "We have a tennis stadium within another stadium".

"I think the stadium is lovely".

Tennis players from across the globe will complete for the following two weeks at the event. Williams, a part-owner of the Dolphins, likes that she lives near the new tournament location.

The two-time Australian Open champion has suffered some tough losses this year including an epic battle in the second round of Indian Wells to Serena Williams. Cibulkova broke when Azarenka was serving for the match and in the very next game Azarenka closed out her opening round on the Slovak's serve.

They'll try again to get started Wednesday; No. 9 Isner and other seeded men such as Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer won't play before Friday thanks to first-round byes. Much like the past two weeks when the Indian Wells Masters was broadcast live on Amazon Prime Video, this second Masters of the year, at Miami will also be shown live with the same live streaming partner of the ATP for United Kingdom viewers. Osaka was born in Japan but raised in nearby Fort Lauderdale. "Just to come from being a kid in the audience to being the one holding the trophy would mean a lot".

She denied Cibulkova from winning their seventh three-set match in the Miami Open 2019.
