Russell Westbrook will miss one game for the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Of course, the National Basketball Association suspended Westbrook for one game on Sunday after he picked up his 16th technical foul of the season.

Westbrook will serve his suspension Monday, when the Thunder host the Miami Heat, the National Basketball Association announced Sunday. Westbrook fouled Klay Thompson out of frustration and then proceeded to argue about the call. Westbrook may have hopes of getting the call that gave him his 16th technical this season rescinded.

For every two additional technical fouls received during the rest of this regular season, Westbrook will be automatically suspended for an additional game.

Players automatically receive a one-game suspension once they reach the 16th technical foul threshold. All three of these things are possible, but Westbrook wouldn't say.

Westbrook could also face a $5,000 fine, according to an ESPN report.

The Jazz said the fan involved in the incident had been banned for life from the venue.

The point guard was held to just seven points against the Warriors, which led to several emotional outbursts before Westbrook eventually picked up his latest technical with 3:29 remaining in the second quarter.
