The GeForce GTX 1660 GPU leverages the impressive raster performance of the Turing architecture to provide an ideal foundation for AAA 1080p gaming, or a plugand-play upgrade for aging systems.

We were informed that GTX 1660 will be made available through NVIDIA GeForce Official Store on Lazada Malaysia soon as well.

Even so, thanks to the Turing architecture the new baby of the bunch has been created to improve performance and efficiency over older Pascal models. The barrier has now been lowered further with the unveiling of GeForce GTX 1660 graphics cards. NVIDIA states that on average, users would see a 110% increase in performance on the GTX 960.

After unleashing the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti at the end of last month, NVIDIA is back today with an even more affordable card in the GTX 1660. It promises to be 130 percent faster than the GTX 960 and 35 percent faster than the GTX 1060 3GB at 1080p according to Nvidia, which should make it a decent option for 1080p gaming if it holds true in real world tests. The GTX 1660 Ti's superiority is clearly demonstrated in the memory specifications.

It also comes with a host of Nvidia features, including adaptive shading technology and support for G-SYNC monitors. It actually packs a slightly faster clock and boost clock speed, however, at 1,530 Mhz and 1,785 Mhz, compared to 1,500 and 1,770 Mhz on the GTX 1660 Ti. Pricing starts from £199 and NVIDIA won't be making a Founders Edition of the GPU.
