The notification said that the ban would be in force from March 14 till the midnight of March 28.

Ten individuals have already paid a price of such a violation as the Rajkot City Police booked 10 people for playing PUBG Mobile. "The case will go to the courts and there will be a trial for not following the notification issued", said Police Commissioner Manoj Agrawal to the Indian Express.

Other Gujarat cities that are enforcing a PUBG ban right now include Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath, and Surat, according to International Business Times. In the procedure, they will be shown as immediately bailed out by police.

Recently, officials in India have arrested 10 university students for playing the widely popular game Playerunknown's Battlegrounds Mobile. These are the first PUBG Mobile-related arrests in Gujarat following the state government's directive that was issued in January of this year that saw several districts ban the game. They were also asked to advise parents to keep an eye on children against the highly addictive game.

Three of the men were arrested on Wednesday, "Our team caught these youths red-handed".

Bluehole's statement to Eurogamer concluded with, "we are honored to have a passionate community of PUBG Mobile players in India and globally and continue to welcome their feedback to make PUBG Mobile the best game ever".

"It has come to our notice from various media that PUBG game, MOMO challenge is leading to a violent attitude among youth. We have filed six different cases against them", Vanzara said that the six were granted bail. The arrests were made after police checked the phones of the accused to see if the PUBG game was running and the cops also checked the history to nab the violators.

"Keeping in mind public safety and security, and to ensure that law and order situation is maintained, a ban is placed on playing PUBG and Momo challenge in Ahmedabad city police limits", the notification read.
