Serial leaker Evan Blass has revealed the latest render of what is set to be the LG G8 ThinQ, and it seems to corroborate other leaked images.

Based on the leaks, the LG G8 ThinQ will come with a notched display, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual rear camera and a 3.5mm headphone jack, meaning it shies away from numerous 2019 trends.

The LG G7 ThinQ came with 3000mAh battery and according to a report, the upcoming device might pack a 3,400mAh battery which is still less when compared to its competitors. One significant feature is that LG has kept its loyalty toward the headphone jack and will continue providing support for your older audio hardware which comes with a 3.5mm jack. The top of the device has no inputs or outputs, and in this regard the design of the device is similar to that of the LG G7 ThinQ.

With the exception of the horizontal dual camera arrangement and the 3D camera, it looks like this render shares the G7's DNA in the looks department.

While nothing is confirmed, the G8 ThinQ is expected to come with a 6.1-inch OLED display (3120 x 1440), Android 9 Pie, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, at least 6 GB of RAM, a microSD slot, and 128 GB of storage space. The dedicated Google Assistant button that was on the side of the LG G7 ThinQ appears to be making a return on the G8, too, along with the typical volume and power/lock keys.

There's no word yet on when LG might fully announce the G8 ThinQ, but Mobile World Congress is taking place later this month, and that could be an opportunity for LG to fully reveal its next flagship.
