Jason Gardiner has claimed Gemma Collins hasn't apologised to him following their row on Dancing On Ice last month.

The Only Way is Essex star, 37, erupted at Jason during her second appearance on the rink.

The star said: "I'm glad that now the contestants that we have in the show now are going to have their time to shine".

"When I spoke to the physio and she said to me, 'It's going to take six months for them to start healing.' That's because I kept falling, and let's be fair I ain't the lightest of persons, so, you know".

When asked if she regretted the spat, Gemma admitted: "Yeah, I do".

"I was fine with what he was saying about my skating, but I didn't like it when he body-shamed me and because that hurt me and I felt embarrassed that's why I attacked back". Then he said I would like to be married first.

Gemma to Phillip and Holly on This Morning.

"You need to up the ante, because you know we are not going to see big lifts from you, we're not going to get any impressive moves".

Gemma went on to quip: "I would have loved to have been spun around for a count of eight and twisted and all of that business they do".

Jason took a different view on Gemma's exit when he appeared on Lorraine before Gemma's This Morning interview.

Jason said: "I'm relieved for the other contestants that are in the show who are really brilliant that now the focus can be on their merit and how hard they've worked".

Gemma's boyfriend James Argent paid tribute to her on twitter after she was booted off the show.

"It was disturbing because she never did apologise and that to me shows her real character".

"I had to show people, do you know what?"

Lorraine airs weekdays at 8.30am, while This Morning airs weekdays at 10.30am, both on ITV. Dancing on Ice continues Sundays at 6pm on ITV.
