The singer, 29, hit the red carpet wearing a striking red tiered tulle gown by Monsoori. The look was accentuated with diamond jewelry.

"I had my team hit out a lot of designers and a lot of them do not want to dress me because I'm too big", she said in a short video posted to her Instagram Jan. 21. "Fuck you, I don't want to wear your fucking dresses".

The pop singer then looked at her mother, who was sitting in the audience and said, "My mom is like, 'Please calm down.' Mom's like, 'Please calm down.' I love you, Mom".

Many designers reached out to Rexha following her tweet and her fans have been waiting to see which design house she would end up going with on music's biggest night.

"You wish you would've dressed my fat a**", the singer and songwriter told Access Hollywood when responding to the designers who wouldn't dress her.
