Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam starrer "Uri: The Surgical Strike" has been quite wonderful in its first weekend.

The film couldn't jump as much on Saturday and Sunday as was the case with Uri - The Surgical Strike. However, the numbers collected right through the weekend are more than what one expected to begin with and hence in that aspect the film has done well.

Since the film is garnering solid word of mouth, we are expecting it to remain rock-steady in the weekdays. Directed by Aditya Dhar, Uri: The Surgical Strike is based on Indian Army's 2016 surgical strike on terrorist camps in Pakistan in retaliation to the terror attack on an Army camp in Uri in Jammu and Kashmir. The film is produced under the banner of RSVP and also stars Yami Gautam, Paresh Rawal and Mohit Raina in key roles. The film received wide acclaim from the audiences and said to be a gripping thriller with very little flaws of the genre. Anyway, have you liked the film? The film is facing tough fight at the box office with two films, Simmba that is already a blockbuster and still earning in its third weekend as well.
