It's nearly time for the 2019 Critics' Choice Awards! If you're a cord-cutter struggling to stream some of the best live awards shows like the Critics' Choice Awards, don't freak out just yet. If you were one of the many with some contention about Bohemian Rhapsody's Golden Globes win for Drama Motion Picture, rest easy: It isn't nominated for a Critics' Choice Award. The semi-autobiographical film follows the life of a live-in housekeeper to an upper middle-class family and stars first-time actress Yalitza Aparicio. "Maisel" won the top comedy honor for the second year in a row, and series star Rachel Brosnahan also was a repeat victor for best actress in a comedy series. Black Panther took home numerous awards tonight, including Best Art Direction for Hannah Beachler and Jay Hart, Best Costume Design for Ruth E. Carter, and Best Visual Effects for Geoffrey Baumann, Jesse James Chisholm, Craig Hammack, and Dan Sudick.
