Since then, we haven't really seen much in regards to what Mortal Kombat 11 will hold.

If you're unfamiliar with those, they're kind of like Mortal Kombat titles starring DC heroes and villains, though that's an admitted oversimplification. For the first time ever, Mortal Kombat X gives players the ability to choose from multiple variations of each character impacting both strategy and fighting style.

Before the first gameplay is revealed on Thursday, January 17 at 11 a.m. PST/7 p.m. GMT, Warner Bros. Fans of Injustice 2 can probably expect some aspects of the Gear System to carry over to the Custom Character System.
