The Oscars Is Trying To Assemble The AVENGERS

With the 2019 Academy Awards moving forward with no host and instead apparently planning to rely on a whole cast of celebrities to introduce the show's various segments, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences is seeking to reunite the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Avengers for the ceremony's broadcast, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Hart will not be returning to host the Oscars and has emphatically said so.

"But his sit-down with DeGeneres, a sympathetic friend, backfired when he was made out to be the victim of internet trolls and "haters" rather than the perpetrator of hateful remarks".

The Oscars may be getting some superpower in lieu of a famous comedian to host it.

For only the second time in its history, the awards show won't have a host.

Here is hoping this year's goes a bit better. (Iron Man), Chris Evans (Captain America), Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner/The Hulk), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) and Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury) assembling on stage. But if you don't have a crowd-drawing host who is going to be cracking jokes throughout the night, then bringing in the stars of one of the most popular film franchises of all time is a good substitute, especially when the Oscars are being broadcast on ABC, which like Marvel Studios, is owned by the Walt Disney Corporation.
