Louise Redknapp suffers horror fall

Louise, who was due to star as the leading lady in the show alongside Love Island's Amber Davies, cut her chin open and fractured her wrist after the fall, with paramedics taking her straight to hospital.

Louise's fall means she's had to pull out of the musical - in which she was due to play Dolly's role as Violet Newstand - as she was told after urgent treatment that she would not be able to work for at least two months.

The star fell while on her way to rehearsals for 9 to 5, a West End show that Louise is due to star in.

A source close to Louise told The Sun newspaper: "It happened on the way to rehearsals on Tuesday morning".

"She went to hospital and had stitches". She's gutted to pull out of the opening weeks of 9 To 5'.

However, bad news for anyone that had hoped to see Louise on stage.

'She is obviously completely devastated because this is a dream role for her. It doesn't seem fair'.

They have released a statement on the matter: 'The recovery time recommended means Louise is no longer able to properly rehearse the show in the remaining time left before opening.

A spokesperson for the production said: "We hope Louise will start performances towards the end of March or early April".

Louise's 9 to 5 co-star and Love Island 2016 victor Amber Davies also shared a message about the incident.

"Together we have made the hard decision to delay Louise's start date in the show". "They have said I will be ok but as they say in the theatre "the show much go on' and I wish the rest of the fabulous cast an fantastic opening night and I will be back on that stage for 9-5 before you know it".

"No way! Hope you're ok", Keith Lemon, 45, said, while Melvin Odoom, 38, added: "Get well soon Lou".
