Per Jericho, The Khan's are backing AEW, but are no strangers to sports and entertainment.

In an interview with Busted Open Radio, Jericho revealed that McMahon knew beforehand that he'd be joining AEW.

Jericho has now been making occasional appearances in New Japan Pro Wrestling, including their massive Wrestle Kingdom show on January 4th. I do know this, as much as the people that you saw on the screen on Tuesday at the rally that are being signed, there's a whole backstage element that's being signed.

Wrestling superstar Chris Jericho may have officially bid his WWE career a goodbye.

"As far as TV goes", Jericho said, "I mean it's one of those things, I wouldn't have gone to All Elite if there wasn't a strong TV deal on the table being worked on, and there's a couple that I know of, and both of them are like, 'Wow!' Like if it's announced, if it's one of those two, you'll go welp, that's what you need".

The biggest announcement was the signing of four-time WWE World Champion Chris Jericho, who proclaimed he's "all in on All Elite Wrestling".

While a television deal will boost the profile of AEW, Jericho believes that his signing with the company already shows that they are ready to make an impact in the wrestling industry.

As it's been widely publicised, former WWE star Cody Rhodes has teamed up with popular indie tag team The Young Bucks to create their own promotion; All Elite Wrestling. "If Jericho went there, this is real".

With a large amount of financial clout behind them, it's been speculated that they could target disenchanted current WWE wrestlers mainly, but an unexpected development occurred last week.
