The AP Top 25 for Week 5 has been announced and the Top 5 welcomes a new team to their clutches as the Michigan Wolverines have made a jump after their big week and impressive victory over North Carolina.

Meanwhile, the rest of the top seven - filled with Kansas, Duke, Virginia, Michigan, Nevada and Tennessee - remained exactly as it were a week ago. Outside of not losing a game yet, they've been dominating their top-level competition, beating ranked Villanova, North Carolina, and Purdue teams by at least 17 points each. Duke 4. Virginia 5.

New faces in the Top 25 this week include Arizona State, Furman and Nebraska, all of whom have had a strong couple weeks.

For the second straight week, the Bulldogs stand firm at the front of the AP poll, holding off the Kansas Jayhawks in the second slot - just like last Monday.

Nevada, Tennessee, Auburn, Kentucky and Michigan State rounded out the top 10. MI 6. Nevada 7. Kentucky and Auburn moved up one spot each to eighth and ninth.

The biggest boost within the rankings was awarded to Wisconsin, which shot up ten spots from No. 22 to No. 12. Florida State climbed four places to No. 11 after picking up a win over Purdue on Wednesday. Iowa 19. Ohio State 20.
