It's basically the gaming world's equivalent of the Golden Globes, if the Golden Globes were occasionally sponsored by Dorito's, or undrinkable new flavors of Mountain Dew. However, given that the event doesn't start until tomorrow, the company has chose to publish a brief teaser trailer to get its fans hyped about what is clearly a new Far Cry title. The version of the clip that Ubisoft posted on Twitter shows that the new Far Cry release will be offered on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Ubisoft has unexpectedly released a teaser video for an upcoming new Far Cry game, seemingly set after the events of Far Cry 5. What we don't know yet is whether or not this is a full-priced game, or a cheaper (and perhaps sillier) spinoff like Blood Dragon.

The unnamed Far Cry game appears to carry on from the ending of Far Cry 5, which seen the world being destroyed by a nuclear explosion. As you may remember, Far Cry 5 ended in Hope County essentially blowing out, so it looks like that could be continued. Given that I enjoyed Far Cry 5 but didn't love its setting, I can see myself really digging this if they do it right.

It definitely looks to be an interesting twist on the series, and we are looking forward to finding out more tomorrow night. Were you feeling it, or not so much?
