"I got the job for Spider-Man in 1999", Raimi said. "I can not tell you how much I love my fans", Lee tells an interviewer in the clip. Sometimes at night, I am sitting here thinking, what's it all about?

The iconic comic book creator Stan Lee passed away on Monday morning at the age of 95.

Meanwhile, the Twitter account for Lee posted a video of him talking about his fans while the camera was being set up for something else.

'We know how much Stan meant to you, and we thought it would be nice for you to hear how much your support meant to him'.

This is a candid moment caught in between shooting official video, and it's such a touching tribute to fans of Stan Lee.

The creative wizard who co-created Spider-Man, Iron Man, Thor and X-Men added, 'They make me feel so great'.

"It's something, if you think about it". "And there's something, if you think about it, wonderful about someone caring about you - as I care about them - whom you've never met". But they care, and you have something in common, and occasionally you contact each other.

The short video ends with Lee saying "this business of fans... is terrific", be it through his particular example of fan letters or via the roaring response of those who attended his many comics convention appearances. Mr Lee is survived by his daughter.
