Over three months after Austin Clay proved the second guy to smash up the current President's little piece of Hollywood Boulevard, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge gave the no-contest pleading vandal a day in county jail and three year's probation. NBC 4 reported that, in February 2017, James Otis pleaded no contest to felony vandalism in that case. According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office, Clay, a resident of Glendale, Calif., was sentenced to one day in county jail, 20 hours of community service, and three years of formal probation.

Clay is also required to go to counseling and needs to "pay restitution of $9,404.46 to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce" in accordance with a plea agreement, the DA's office said.

Hollywood is no fan of Donald Trump and it seems that taking a pickaxe to the once Celebrity Apprentice host's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame will only get you a slap on the wrist.

"He was just, like, it was his business to be tearing up the ground", witness Patricia Cox toldCBS 2 News, adding that she thought he was a construction worker. Given not even a day in jail, the self-described activist was also ordered to pay $3,700 to the Hollywood Historic Trust and $700 to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to fix the damage done to Trump's star.

"I think that the repercussions of it were only positive", he said. During Trump's presidential campaign, his star was spray-painted and surrounded by a 6-inch wall - a dig at his proposal to build a wall at the Mexico border - and smashed with both a sledgehammer and, yep, a pickax.
