BioWare Teases the Future of ‘Mass Effect’ On N7 Day

And it seems like BioWare boss Casey Hudson just used the studio's N7 Day Twitter post to hint at the future of Mass Effect.

Mass Effect Andromeda, the last entry in the sci-fi IP created by BioWare, just got enhanced for the Xbox One X console.

And let's not beat around the bush: we have Mass Effect: Andromeda to thank for that. "And that's actually one of the reasons why we're doing an Xbox One X patch for "Andromeda" with better resolution, HDR lighting- and that should be available today". So that meaningful look seems like a playful reminder to fans on N7 Day that BioWare hasn't forgotten about them.

What might be the most interesting part is the ending, though, where Hudson makes a statement laden with innuendo: "It means coming into the studio every day, dreaming about what the next great Mass Effect game will be". Fittingly, this is at the end of the video. The final line of the video may give fans a glimmer of hope for the future of this beloved series. The game maintains a score of 71 on Metacritic with "generally unfavorable" user reviews.

Official details on the enhancements will likely come in a few hours since today is N7 Day, the yearly celebration date for all Mass Effect fans.
